South London group The Manor are not your average rap collective. The trio of Danny Graft (Beckenham), Jonny Dutch (Catford) and Scotty Stacks (Sydenham) have stood out among the UK hip-hop crowd with their lads’ anthems and anti-swag style, building a unique cross-section of fans in the process.

Despite having all attended the same secondary school, it wasn’t until meeting at a Beckenham sixth form college in 2007 that the three became close friends and began rapping together. With varying experience in music and writing – at age 14 Danny Graft had met then-London Mayor Ken Livingstone having won the Respect Festival’s spoken word contest, while Scotty Stacks had previously been part of a local grime collective – the lads occasionally made tracks and rapped for fun at house parties before University studies put a halt on their music for a few years.

They have amassed more than 2million combined YouTube views and after releasing 3 free mixtape their debut album recently reached number 3 in the iTunes chart.
