Biography

Authentic nine-piece Ska band The Superskas perform a catalogue of hits from the golden ages of Trojan Ska & 2 Tone. Covering songs made famous by the likes of Toots & the Maytals and Desmond Dekker, through to The Specials, Madness, Bad Manners and The Selecter, The Superskas come complete with horn section and male and female vocalists and are guaranteed to get the party started!

Live highlights include performing a full set with Damon Albarn of Blur, appearing at the Specials after-party, performing on the same bill as Madness at the house of fun weekender and supporting Reggae royalty Steel Pulse, Musical Youth and Apache Indian.

“I saw you at the Madness house of fun weekender at Butlins, Minehead and I have to say this... I have been a huge fan of Ska and 2tone for 35 years. I have seen hundreds of bands but never have I seen a band that had me gob-smacked the way you did. The entire performance from start to finish was amazingly faultless. Not only that but the choice of songs and the style in which you delivered the entire show was first class. Thank you for showing the people of today what Ska is really like.”

“Love this band The Superskas! Good work, keep it up.” Lynval Golding – The Specials

“The Superskas allow the audience to relive the experience of one of the UKs most exciting musical movements” The Express & Star newspaper
