Scotland's capital is a supreme destination for the August Bank Holiday, with some of the best parties in the country taking over the city.
The event everyone will be talking about is, of course, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival - the largest arts festival in the world. Beginning on August 2nd and running through to the end of the month, expect the city to be buzzing with comedy, theatre, musicals, opera and everything in between.
Helping mark the closing of the Fringe weekend, the infamous man in the hat, Kolsch is bringing his international party, IPSO to the capital with Nightvision at The Liquid Rooms..
Or if you find yourself wanting to dive into a Hip Hop Time Machine then Saturday night will be more your thang, as DJ Nasty P throws it back to the funk ridden days of Grandmaster Flash and hoods of L.A with N.W.A right through to the modern masters like A$AP Rocky, Kenrick, Kanye, Drake and Dre Dre!
Prince fans are spoilt for choice this weekend to witness His Royal Badness with not one but TWO purple events: DangerZone presents a whole night of music by the legend, celebrating his life and legacy! Then over at The Old DR Bells Baths, the Endorphinmachine himself can be found as the World finest Price tribute band take to stage!
