Minimum age: 18

LEAF is a major city-wide event for London, showcasing its innovative heritage in electronic music. Through a series of talks, technology masterclasses, installations, screenings, parties and performances, LEAF will explore and reclaim the legacy of London as a pioneering figure in the global electronic music movement.

LEAF is created and curated by Bestival founder and BBC Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank, and music pioneer and International Music Summit creator Ben Turner, in partnership with SJM Concerts, the UK’s leading independent concert promoter. The event is partnered with Point Blank – the award-winning music production school based in East London, an epicentre of music and technology innovation, and a natural home for LEAF.

Celebrating the cultural significance of electronic music, LEAF will focus on how the genre has influenced visual art, film and live music.

"London has defined a genre. It may not have invented electronic music, but it gave it a global focal point for decades. Its influence from DJ-s to parties, flyers to technology platforms has been pivotal to the durability and the inventiveness of this scene. LEAF aims to bring all of this together for the very first time in the capital. This is our way of giving something back to a city that helped shape our entire working lives." - Ben Turner & Rob da Bank, LEAF curators and creators
