Terminal V Festival information & FAQs

By Air - With regular flights connecting Edinburgh Airport to the UK and Europe there are plenty options available. The festival site is a short 10 minute walk from the airport.
By Car - Public transport is recommended as parking is not available on site.
By Taxi - There are several local taxi firms to choose from and a taxi drop off point easily accessible by following the signs for the North Car Park.
By Bus - Organised travel is available from Happy Bus and Big Green Coach from several locations direct to The Royal Highland Centre. 24 hour bus services are available with travel across Edinburgh and Glasgow.
By Rail - The closest railway station is The Edinburgh Gateway Station with a 40 minute walk to the festival site. The next closest railway station is Haymarket.
Terminal V is held at The Royal Highland centre, located on the west side of city, near the grounds of Edinburgh Airport.
Terminal V is easily accessible by coach, shuttle buses and taxis.
Return buses from Edinburgh to Glasgow will be running 24 hours.
The Edinburgh Gateway Station is a 40mins walk from the site for access to trains all over Scotland. Haymarket is the next nearest train station with excellent train links across the UK. For more information contact National Rail on 08457 48 49 50.
The Royal Highland Centre is situated adjacent to Edinburgh Airport. Over 180 flights connect Edinburgh to the rest of the UK and Europe each day and the Royal Highland Centre is just a ten-minute walk from the airport.
There is no parking available for cars, apart from TAXIS, so please do not consider driving to this event
Please follow the signs for the North Car Park. This is also the drop off and taxi pickup point.
Please plan ahead and organise travel plans in advance for leaving arrangements before you arrive at Terminal V.
We're offering Personal Assistant tickets for customers who need to be accompanied to this event. A Personal Assistant ticket is to be offered for free or discounted when somebody with a disability requires a carer to be in attendance with them. To automatically be eligible, please provide a copy of one of the following pieces of documentation listed below.
- Front page of DLA / PIP (no specific rate)
- Front page of Attendance Allowance letter (no specific rate)
- Evidence that registered severely sight impaired (blind)
- Recognised Assistance Dog ID card
- Credibility's Access Card

No, Terminal V is a non camping festival so camping equipment is not needed. It is however close to a large choice of accommodation within 1 mile from the festival site.
Terminal V is located at The Royal Highland Centre & Showground which is close to Edinburgh Airport. The festival site can be accessed easily by taxi, rail and shuttle bus.

Payment plan tickets are currently not on sale.
Designated disabled parking spaces are available to customers within the North Car Park. Flat and hard-standing routes link the car park to the Lowland Hall and Central Hall. The route and entrance to the Halls are fully accessible & wheelchair friendly.
There are accessible toilet facilities available along the Eastern Wall and within the West foyer of the Lowland Hall. A newly installed adult changing place is available to customers who request this facility in the adjacent Highland Hall.
The festival site is well equipped for disabled customers.

The only forms of ID that are accepted to ensure festival entry are:
- Valid Provisional Driving Licence
- Valid Full Driving Licence
- Valid Passport
You may need an additional form of ID to prove your identify if your ID does not appear to be valid.
Unfortunately we can’t issue you with a refund if you can’t make the event due to work commitments or your mates have dropped out. In these circumstances, we advise passing on your tickets privately to avoid losing out on the money spent.
Refunds can only be offered if the event is cancelled or postponed, as agreed upon purchase.
Yes. There will be excessive strobe lighting used throughout the event.
You are not allowed to bring your own food and drink into Terminal V. There will be a wide variety of food and drink stalls inside the festival.
We STRONGLY recommend getting to Terminal V between 12pm - 2pm to avoid queueing.
Peak entry times are between 2pm - 4pm.
During these times you may be subjected to longer queuing times when you could be inside enjoying yourselves.
The festival runs from midday each day until 11pm.
Bars will close at 10.30pm, food at 10.45pm and the music concludes at 11pm.
Keep an eye out for official Terminal V after parties running immediately after the festival in the city centre.
No, there is no re-entry.
Last entry to Terminal V is 5PM.
Small bags only. Nothing larger than an A4 size bag. All bags will be searched upon entry.
There is a cloakroom and lockers. Lockers are situated beside Charge Candy in the outdoor area.
You can smoke/vape in outside areas. Cigarettes will be sold at the festival via bars.
