Back for its third year, the BBC 6 Music Festival returns, this time taking place in the culturally rich musical city of Glasgow. In collaboration with BBC Introducing, this year's event will also sees a gig at King Tuts Wah Wah Hut showcasing the most exciting and intriguing in up and coming artists.

On headline duties will be six-piece progressive band Pronto Mama will be showcasing their pop-infused indie in their hometown. Having met in school and later combining two friendship groups to create the collective, Pronto Mama are an eclectic bunch. With the inclusion of a trumpet, keyboard, trombone and various percussion instruments making up their original sound, it comes as no surprise that BBC Introducing picked up on them.

Also included on this year's line up are brothers and indie folk outfit JR Green, who use traditional folk instruments such as the accordion and combine with their angsty polemics. St Martins also joins the evening, delivering their jangly riffs to the King Tuts audience. Last but not least, dark and eerie four piece Rituals.

This is now sold out, but you can join a waiting list for this event via the box below to be informed when tickets do come on sale.
