Having previously added the likes of Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Ryan Adams, The Hives and Echo & the Bunnymen to their line up (more on that here), Calling Festival this morning return with two more celebrated rock groups to ramp of the anticipation for this year's jaunt at Clapham Common on July 4th.

First of the new additions is US rockers Modest Mouse. Having packed out venues on both sides of the Atlantic with their electrifying live sets, Modest Mouse's cacophony of guitars, violins, horns, keyboards and drum kits has no shortage of admirers. With a new LP imminent, the Washington based six piece will be supplying some indie magic along with their first new material in eight years (hear some of that in 'The Ground Walks, with Time in a Box' above).

They will be joined by the thunderous sounds of North London's Wolf Alice. Described by Clash magazine as 'the lovechild of folk and rock', the celebrated four piece will be lighting up the common with their haunting, pop hooks and roaring guitars, all held together by Ellie Rowsell's sublime vocal presence (as heard in 'Moaning Lisa Smile' above). Head here to check out the full Calling Festival line up.
