This week we've had even more exciting attractions and events added to Skiddle. We thought we'd share the very best ones with you, there are fun things to do for couples, kids, families and even for solo adventures. This week there's a good mix of comedy, Halloween, sports events and much more to choose from.

Andrew O'Neill

When: Wednesday 3rd November 

Where: Suburbia, Southampton 

The Suburbia will be welcoming Andrew O'Neill to entertain you for an evening as the acclaimed comedian, musician and writer brings out some of his best material. There will also be two other comedians supporting him, Sandi Smith and James Ellis. With a tonne of critically acclaimed shows under his belt, it's a guaranteed good time when Andrew takes to the stage.

Comedy Store

When: Saturday 23rd October

Where: Old Fire Station, Carlisle

Comedy Store is the regular night of comedy that you'll find at Old Fire Station in Carlisle. Determined to bring you the best in stand up from across the world, they're here to bring you some of the brightest names in comedy. The names for this show being Mike Newall, Lauren Pattison and Jo Caulfield. Mike Harris will be on MC duties, it's going to be a cracker.

Dear Santa Live

When: Saturday 4th September

Where: Old Fire Station, Carlisle

From the author of beloved children's book DEAR ZOO, Rod Campbell, this is a theatre performance based on his book Dear Santa and you can experience it live at Old Red Fire Station. It's an ideal introduction to the theatre for young children and will be an extra special way to spread that Christmas cheer this year. It is the perfect show for families.

Scare City 2.0 The Ring

When: Saturday 16th October

Where: Power League Soccer Dome, Manchester

The Ring is probably one of the scariest movies of all time and who could forget that iconic scene with the TV (if you still had your eyes open at that point). Well, you can experience it in a whole new way at this drive-in experience. Be prepared though, there are actors wandering around who may just be waiting to give you a scare.

Winter Wonderland- Ice Skating

When: Friday 24th December

Where: Rainton Arena, Houghton-le-Spring

What better way to spend Christmas Eve than to put on a pair of skates? Whether you're a first-timer, a couple or a family, there's lots of fun to be had out on an ice rink. Whether you decide to go at day or night, the arena will be looking idyllic and if you want to spice things up on the ice why not do a forfeit for the person who falls over the most.

Satan's Slammer

When: Saturday 30th October

Where: Weston Lawns Farm, Bedworth

Recommended as a place for people aged 14+, Satan's Slammer is not a place to take lightly. Joining a chain gang, you will be taken down to a deep maze of dungeons but maybe you'll be able to find a way to escape. Be warned, there are all kinds of criminals here who have been locked up for heinous crimes and even word of a great beast who wanders around these walls.

Oktoberfest comes to Cardiff

When: Saturday 9th October

Where: Vale Sports Arena, Cardiff

Oktoberfest is taking over Cardiff for one day only in October. So bring out your lederhosen and dirndls, pick up a stein and lets get the drinks flowing! With Oompah bands, German pretzels and Bavarian trestle tables, this event will feel incredibly authentic, who needs to go over to Germany?

R&B Brunch Liverpool

When: Sunday 31st October

Where: LEVEL, Liverpool

The UK's official R&B Brunch is coming over to Liverpool for the first time. This opening party will show you exactly how good a time can be had here. With a soundtrack of R&B classic and new, expect to hear names such as SZA, TLC and Mary J. Blige. With delicious street food on offer and bottomless rum punch from 12-1 PM, this is going to be one great party.

Rise: England's Maddest Wrestling Show

When: Saturday 9th October

Where: Play Brew Taproom, Middlesbrough

As the title suggests, one of the maddest wrestling shows that can be found in the UK is coming to Middlesbrough. It'll be action-packed and not for the faint of heart as these competitors absolutely go for it against each other. The audience will be expected to get involved with the drama as the drama of the physical theatre becomes more and more intense.
