Genre spanning mix of artists added to Electric Fields 2017 line up

A plethora of top class acts will come to Drumlanrig castle between Friday 1st - Saturday 2nd September.

Taking place across the first weekend of September, Electric Fields has once again staked its case as Scotland's most eclectic music event, with a second wave line up announcement that has the musical prowess to please all.

Announced as the second headliner for the festival is UK rap king Dizzee Rascal, who simply needs no introduction with a glittering career that has seen him reach chart topping heights, whilst releasing a slew of critically acclaimed albums along the way.

A star studded billing is also in line for the festival at Drumlanrig Castle, including esteemed rockers Band of Horses, electro indie upstarts Glass Animals, sparkling chill wavers Real Estate and heaps more including Peter Hook & The Light, Kate Tempest, Car Seat Headrest, British Seapower and Anna Meredith.

The DJ talent matches the live prowess on the Electric Fields 2017 line up with a dance music billing led by genre traversing Glasgoweigen Jackmaster, with the likes of Artwork, Denis Sulta, Lord of the Isles and Space Dimension Controller also announced.

They join the previously unveiled Friday night headliners Frightened Rabbit, along with Creation trailblazers The Jesus and Mary Chain, and whimsical indie icons Arab Strap.
