Line up unveiled for BBC Introducing Stage at Highest Point Festival

Rae Morris, Bondax and more join the bill at the Lancaster event.

The line up for Williamson Park weekender Highest Point Festival has been completed with a pair of big name headliners and the addition of heaps of local, up and coming talent who will deliver the goods on The Chris Glaba Memorial Stage on Saturday and Sunday.

BBC Introducing have helped curate the stage which on Saturday 19th May will be headlined by Blackpool’s Rae Morris off the back of her critically acclaimed new album, while Sunday’s headliner is Annie Mac favourites and Lancaster’s own electronic duo Bondax.

Joining the headliners is a collection of fresh new talent, including North West guitar pop trio The Hara, Lancashire Ones To Watch Lowes, electro-driven 10 piece dance and hip-hop collective The Moods, atmospheric alt pop from Arctic Lake, techno funk with Bad Bambino, Morecambe indie new wave Amber Suns and Manchester rock and roll band Sauce.

Sunday’s lineup features lo-fi guitar pop with Pixey, UK grime artist Vital,  Blackpool’s feral rock trio Strange Bones, rapper and producer Faceless, Preston rockers Building Giants, Laurel Canyon, singer/songwriter and guitarist Sam Tomlins and a talent beyond his 14 years of age James Jackson.

They join a Highest Point line up that sees Jackmaster, High Contrast and Sasha play the opening day, the likes of Huey Morgan, Ocean Colour Scene and Embrace hold court on day two while Greg Wilson, Hacienda Classical and more close the weekend.
