Mad Professor comes to Liverpool’s Constellations ahead of Positive Vibrations

One of the leading faces of the dub scene, producer, engineer, and reggae legend Mad Professor is coming the Constellations, Liverpool ahead of Positive Vibrations festival. 

Collaborating with fellow reggae revelers Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Jah Shaka, Horace Andy as well as artist outside the realms of the traditional dub genre such as smooth jazz group Sade, trip hop heavyweights Massive Attack and ambient house pioneers, the Orb. 

Hailing from Guyana, Neil Fraser aka Mad Professor, demonstrates a mastery of electronic gadgetry, overseeing more than two hundred albums from his legendry Ariwa studios. 

His transitioning of dub into the digital age cements his name as one of the finest deep root reggae artist with a versatile sound. Mad Professor will be joined by Marley & Vegas and James Stephenson on the night.

Positive Vibrations boasts a fantastic line up of reggae royalty in a celebration of cultural appreciation and positivity across the weekend of 8th – 9th June. Descending on Baltic Triangle in Liverpool will be the likes of Sister Nancy & Legal Shot Sound System, Macka B & The Roots Ragga Band, Mungo’s Hi Fi, Irration Steppas and Eva Lazarus.
