Rok The Block was created in the latter part of 2016 with the inspiration of New York block parties a focal point. This meant the music, vibe, venue space, DJs and artwork was put together as a whole package to create a party that delivered something new for London.

Taking place in East London's Trapeze Basement, the space is intimate (around 250/300 capacity), has one of the best soundsystems you will hear in a venue this size anywhere, spacious DJ booth, wooden dancefloor and low ceilings and complete with long bar. The DJs selected have been chosen with the sound and vibe in mind, not because they have 10k of followers on Instagram!

Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Reggae, Disco and a sprinkling of house is the order of the day musically and for this March event with guest DJ Leo Greenslade, resident dj at London party institution YoYo, joining Master Level, Tom Nice and Special Juan (all of whom have smashed previous Rok the Block events) behind the decks.

With SKIDDLE selling tickets in advance at just £3, this is an event that shows no sign of let up. And when you put together quality beats and breaks for the dancefloor, top class DJs and a venue that just screams good vibes, you have a winning formula from the off! Get involved.
