On 6th and 7th of March, we're headed to Bristol for a run of events which will showcase the city's unique culture and creativity. Through collaborative events with local promoters, pop-ups with bands and panel sessions with industry experts, we'll be highlighting the music scene in all its glory.

We've announced the breakdown of what's happening and when within the city for Skiddle Spotlight. Check out what's on offer below and click the links for tickets. 

Wednesday

All day - Bus parked at Uni of Bristol Students Union

Come down to see the Skiddle double decker bus and download the app to be in with the chance to win £1,000, alongside lots of Skiddle merch being given away!  

3-4pm - Coffee House Sessions with Harry Heart @ Uni of Bristol SU

Come and get intimate with the enigmatic Harry Heart. Born in east London, he honed his musicianship in Australia with two national tours, join us for this unique opportunity in the Balloon Bar.  

6pm-9pm - Spotlight on Bristol: Panel discussions on mental health and Bristol venues @ Trinity Centre

As part of our Skiddle Spotlight event, join us at our informative panel session to discuss mental health in music industry to venue closure and the challenges promoters face.  

7pm-12am - Jacobs X ESO: Riz La Teef (UKG Set) + residents @ Jacobs

Jacobs welcome Bristol collective ESO to host an intimate showcase of some of their residents and extended family, names such as Riz La Teef, Jook, aæe, Fonzo, Bandi and more will be bringing a special selection of UK Garage, Funky and Grime, expect a unique setting in one of Bristol’s finest new barbers.

10:15pm-2:15am - Bethbethbeth Presents: Heater @ Arts House Cafe

Showcasing some of Bristol’s best newly emerging underground artists. Launching with an intimate showcase event and livestream and extending invites to promotors and professionals, ‘Heater’ aims to contribute toward bridging the gap between underground and industry with regular intimate and exclusive parties.   

6pm-11pm - Pennywell Presents: Diemantal @ Pennywell

Come down to exciting new multipurpose event space. Pennywell and friends join to bring a unique jam packed event. For those of you feeling lucky, the drag queens with be bringing the bingo entertainment. Enjoy delicious street food along with a fully stocked bar or get your skates on at the Bump roller disco where Bitch Please’s Zen Zero will be hosting the music - you're sure to have a great time with headline DJs, DJ Die and Dismantle.

Thursday

4pm-5pm - Fifty Fifty Skate Jam with Daddy G, Awon 78 and Bash Money @ Lloyds Ampitheatre  

Bristol based streetwear and skateboard store Fifty Fifty is hosting an open skate jam including a best tricks jam to win cash & product prizes on varied sections of the infamous Bristol skate spot. With music by guest DJs Daddy G, Awon 78 and Bash Money, this event is not to be missed. Come along and get involved.  

7pm-9pm - Crack X Skiddle Boat Party with Hodge & Pinch 

Bristol producers Pinch & Hodge champion a unique UK bass sound and we're offering a chance to win an up close and personal DJ set for you and 30 mates aboard a boat along the River Avon alongside Crack magazine. For the chance to win, check out our Instagram @skiddleuk on Thursday 21st February for how to enter.  

9pm-3am - Vaccines (DJ set) at Pressure Indie Night @ Thekla 

Bristol's biggest and best Indie and Alternative club night. With a cult following each week, and guest DJ slot from Vaccines - one of the biggest names in the scene - Pressure stands out as the only place to be on Thursdays in Bristol if you like Indie & Alternative music.  

7pm-11pm - Triple Bam Rodney P event sponsored by Skiddle @ The Fleece

The 2019 Kingdem Tour sees three of UK Hip Hop’s original heavyweight artists join forces for a one-off chance to see all three live and on the same stage across the UK. Rodney P, Ty and Blak Twang need little introduction – all three artists in their own right have contributed to the UK Hip Hop canon in ways few others can match.  

8pm - 12pm - Gardna & Friends w/ GDC, Gardna x Eva Lazarus @ The Attic

Bristol's lyricist on a sound system tip Gardna has a reputation for getting the party started with his high energy live performances. Gardna invites collaborators Gentlemans Dub Club and Eva Lazarus down for a dubplate frenzy at his local the Attic Bar alongside Boom Sound Residents and Special Guests.  

7pm - 12:45am - Dubcult Live / Presents @ Private Residence 

As our ever changing industry develops with the advancement of technology and commercialism of once niche genres, Dubcult has built a community based on the respect and understanding of soundsystem culture, dubplates and olschool sound clashes . Bringing 2019 back to 2000. From private live stream parties to huge sound system dances Dubcult serves to meet the growing demands of Bristol, the forward thinking hub of the UK.  

10pm - 3am - Kings of the Jungle @ Lakota with General Levy 

We're teaming up with Lakota and Fiesta Bombarda for a jungle adventure featuring General Levy live, plus a history of jungle set from Grooverider. Fifty Fifty will take over the second room with Daddy G, Bash Money, Avon 78.
