The team behind Creamfields have confirmed that none other than Swedish House Mafia will headline next year, when they close the festival on Sunday 25th August 2019.

Consisting of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, the DJ supergroup has been the subject of much speculation over recent weeks, as cryptic posters have been spotted around the region. The performance is set to be their only UK date of 2019, and the first since their final show in the country in 2012.

The rest of the Creamfields line up will be revealed over the coming months, but with this year boasting the likes of The Chainsmokers, Carl Cox and Chase & Status, another ridiculous line up is expected.

Widely accepted as the UK's biggest dance music festival, it annually attracts thousands of ravers to the north west. The event itself is spread over three days and will return Daresbury in Warrington between Thursday 22nd and Sunday 25th August 2019.

The Creamfields team are smashing it at the moment - their award winning Steel Yard concept has two massive shows lined up in Liverpool and London. The former sees a joint effort with Dutch powerhouse Tomorrowland, as Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike head to Central Docks on Saturday 8th December.

The latter will be treated to a two day rave, on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May 2019. The shows will be headlined by Carl Cox who will host the 'Return of Space Ibiza', then the following day Eric Prydz, who will bring his spectacular HOLO showcase to the city.

Creamfields tickets are available now.
