Following the success of its debut at the world-famous Saatchi Gallery in London, Sweet Harmony - a retrospective exhibition charting the rise of UK rave culture - will open for three days in the spiritual home of acid house, Manchester.

Presented by The Warehouse Project, Highsnobiety and size?, the free and immersive exhibition of images, video and sculpture will open to the public inside the Depot at Mayfield - the current home of WHP - from Sunday 8th to Wednesday 11th December.

Contributors include the likes of Hacienda resident photographer, Jon Shard, sculptor Conrad Shawcross, filmmaker Brian Cannon, and photographers Elspeth Mary Moore, Ewen Spencer and Al Brown, who have collectively captured some of the most iconic moments in UK rave culture.

Accompanying the exhibition, size? will present a collection of the rave scene’s most iconic trainers, underlining the influence of underground culture on contemporary fashion.

Philly Adams, Saatchi director and Sweet Harmoney’s co-curator said: “It makes absolute sense to bring Sweet Harmony to Manchester; with so much history, and the city’s current prominent place in the rave culture scene, we are delighted to take an exhibition that began at Saatchi Gallery outside of London for the first time.”

Skiddle visited the Sweet Harmony exhibition at the Saatchi earlier this year to meet PEZ - one of rave culture's most prominent artists:
