The Playground is back at Proud Camden on Friday the 18th of October with a massive line-up including SURKIN & CANBLASTER, CAUSE AND EFFECT, DE$IGNATED, DAKTYL, CODEC, QUEENIE and many more. Bringing together some of the finest French electronic music from label boss SURKIN, Marble Records who is currently on his European tour alongside Canblaster. Though young, Surkin has made tremendous headway in the international electronic scene, establishing himself with releases on Boysnoize Records, Turbo Recordings, Sound Pellegrino and remixing acts for the likes of Justice, M.I.A., Kavinsky and many more. Recent works include Kenzo's "Tiger Fever" music campaign and a collaboration with M.I.A. on her next album. Known for his eclectic mixes that break and blur the boundaries of dance music, SURKIN style has now developed into a unique and distinctive sound. Support comes from none other than the godfather of Jackin House Chris Lorenzo of Cause and Affect who will be showcasing the latest craze in house music, bassline house. Proud Galleries in Camden is well known for being one of the original rehearsal studios of The Clash along with Camdens original horse hospital, making the venue one of the most interesting spaces in London.
