Summer’s here and festival season is in full swing! That means everything's right in the world again. And August is only a couple of days away now. In case you didn’t know, there are some stunning festivals in August. Many would even argue it’s the best month in the festival calendar.

But what makes August such a good month for festivals?

For one, there’s that lovely bank holiday weekend, giving you the Monday off for recovery, and the weather in the UK is at its best. And the festivals themselves are among the most legendary - do CreamfieldsR&L, and Boomtown sound familiar?

With warmer weather and killer lineups, here are the August festivals we’re just dying to get to.
