The month kicks off with The Institute in Birmingham throwing the first part of the Seven project on 2nd November, a night which aims to curate the most exciting, innovative, and current artists working today. First off is DJ Fresh. Put together by the guys who brought you GlobalGathering and Godskitchen, expect high end production and a weighty sound system to give one of the leading purveyors of drum n bass and dubstep an outstanding platform to deliver his bass-wise business in full force.

Over in Coventry, Jackmaster, Route 94 and Cecyl arrive in the wonderfully intimate Carey’s on the 9th November for ltd #004. Anyone who’s experienced a Jackmaster set knows that they are in for a whirlwind trip through genres, with emphasis placed on full on dance floor devastation.

Wednesday 13th will see Nottingham gain a brand new techno night: Perdition. This hotly awaited night kicks things off with an exciting line up of underground techno producers all renowned for their darkly twisted take on raw techno, setting up what could be one of the midlands most exciting techno night. Sheworks favourite Sunil Sharpe appears alongside Pennyroyal’s J. Tijn for some terrifying techno wares, built for warehouse raving.

The second edition of Seven arrives on the 16th November, and comes in the shape of Annie Mac’s all conquering roadshow Annie Mac presents. The leading lady of dance music takes to the decks with Duke Dumont, MNEK, Cyril Hahn and Lulu James in tow. Will Saul & Deetron in Mixmag's DJ Lab

On the same day the mighty underground house label Aus arrives at The Rainbow Complex, with imprint head honcho Will Saul and DJing mate Deetron at the helm. Responsible for some of the scenes most intelligent, stripped back and downright essential releases of the last few years, Will Saul’s benchmark setting label has become the go-to imprint for some of the worlds most respected DJs.

Tastemaking radio station and record label Rinse brings some of its most loved DJs for Rinse x 02:31 at Rainbow Venues on the 23rd November. Huxley, Shadowchild, xxxy, Leftwing & Kody and Foamo are just some of the reasons that this is looking particularly special.

On more of a soul tip, Craig Charles arrives at The Clarendon, Leamington Spa (also on the 23rd) with his hugely popular funk and soul club. His show has been gaining ever more momentum with each passing year, winning fans with his encyclopaedic music knowledge and peerless selection skills striking a chord with the nation. Always a fun filled night out, Craig’s infectious stage presence is worth the price alone.

Part four of Seven welcomes Laidback Luke to head up proceedings on the 29th. The Dutch superstar needs little introduction, and will be perfectly poised to deliver his trademark blend of Electro and house that has seen him gain worldwide adoration.

GOLDEN TICKET

Tessela headlines our Golden Ticket event for the month of November. As one of the most intriguing, genre-bending producers at the moment, Tessela has continue to blow up dancefloors across the nation with a prolific release of rave fodder that combines bass music, footwork, breaks, jungle and nineties rave in a rough and ready style that has bpth caught of guard and captivated the dance music fraternity.

'Hackney Parrot' (above) has been one of the most rinsed tunes of 2013, whilst output on R&S, Punch Drunk and 2nd Drop has seen him flexing his brutalist techno and sideways garage leanings, evoking the likes of Randomer, Blawan and Joe, whilst crafting a sound that's completely his own. Tessela has been on our radar for some time now, and he just seems to keep getting better with each passing release. On the 15th November, expect a wildly varied journey through a dank world of exhilarating techno and breakbeat. We can’t wait for this one. Get your ticket below, or head here
