Review of Funkagenda Rooftop Party
I purchased this ticket under the assumption it would grant me access to both the day and night part of the even (as indicated by the information above: 2:00pm til 9:00am), however, I arrived at around midnight and was told my ticket only gave access to the day part of the event. This is a bit of a con because the event information quite clearly says 2pm toll 9am. I had to pay again on the door to get into the night event. This is a mess and I would like a refund for my ticket that turned out to be useless.

Review of Trancelation - The 1st Birthday
What a seriously great night. Some seriously soaring, uplifting and energetic #trance. Some parts of it were a lil on the hard side, and it all finished off with a bit of psytrance and then, totally unexpectedly, CRW - I Feel Love. A few classics were in there, including a remix of BBE - Seven Days and One Week. I forget who played what in what set, but the track listings should be available soon. One massive #ch00n I've been listening to recently was played - Sean Matthews - Paradise (possibly the Giuseppe Ottaviani remix). Another massive #ch00n I remember was Dan Stone - Only The Memories. Incredible! And the visualisations! Wow! Serious Subwoofer in Blue Mountain Club too. Totally recommend it for serious #trance

Review of Trancelation - The 1st Birthday
This was a very good night and it bodes well for future Trancelation events. The evening started off with Trancelation resident DJs' providing a good warm up for the night ahead. The venue itself is more used to heavier bass on the sounds and so the set up was a little too heavy for the type of music being played. However, that did not detract too much from the excellent sets that the main names produced. Ucast is a new name to me and he produced an interesting set and is certainly a name to lookout for. The big name of course was Manuel Le Saux. This is a DJ/Producer/Label Owner who consistently produces amazing sets of Euphoric, Uplifting sounds that you regularly would not hear elsewhere. His mixed sets are always sure to cover all tastes within the Euphoric Trance scene and he consistently drops in some tracks that are unexpected yet work very well. Trancelation managed to pull more than a rabbit out of the bag by including him in the roster for their first birthday bash.
The Trancelation team worked very hard to produce an excellent night at a good venue which was extremely good value. This bodes well for future events. The Trancelation team are big fans of the music genre themselves and that shows. I look forward to some exciting times ahead for this brand. If you missed this event, you truly missed out.

Great night, better without arsey hiphoppers
With regards to the complaint second down... We got a crew in to do the roof terrace who are ment to be tight with both contact play and 3 amigo's (they have gone on to play a few more gigs with them this year).. We booked pretty much everybody on the lineup apart from those two acts. We tried and tried to confirm that these acts had been contacted and we were assured they were... On the day of the event the promoter got a call from a rather nervous sounding person from one of the acts that sounded like they were not keen on playing (bottling it basically). There was then a rumpus kicked up about people that had bought tickets who were friends of the band that wanted refunds etc etc.. because that act had not been cooked... but they had been booked, and as they were their friends it would have been easier to hassle their friends than a busy promoter... and they were told as much while the promoter was halfway up a ladder trying to do 101 things.
As was pointed out tickets were 15/20/25... A bargain for any one of the acts that played on new years eve, this had over 15 class A acts on the lineup and we are very proud of that ticket price,. We can only imagine you are somehow connected to this crew that decided they had better places to be on new years eve because everybody that was actually there had a wicked time. Roll on the next one

AWESOME!
One of the cheaper places to go on NYE, and it doesn't disappoint. The vibe was awesome with everyone being super friendly and wishing happy new year to complete randoms. The music was sick in each room, the band on the outside probs being the highlight. Yeah it's not in top condition the place, but the grimey places usually have character.
40 quid ticket? Should have bought it online and it would have been 20 quid. unlucky.

blue mountain is wack.
A lot of the music I went to see such as 3 Amigo's and Contact Play had not even been contacted about the event. We spoke to one of the MC's concerned and he confirmed this. Meaning I had paid £40 to see maybe one or two sets I wanted to. What a con.

new years review
Sound was good, drinks were cheap, but circulation from room to room was difficult to the point of being dangerous. The toilet overflowed at one point, which was rather gross. Security was perfectly cordial. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Champion sound
Was great music last night the reggae on the terrace was a great touch playing some of the classics and the music in both inside rooms was great too. However the atmosphere was a bit rough at times due to the amount of people in there at the time but still was a good night
