This was an awful event. The whole thing was over priced for what you got. It was all done very cheaply. Terrible atmosphere. No choice in drink. Horrendous set up. 9 deep at bar, beer ran out at 10pm! Lots of fight. Would never go again and definitely would not recommend

We had an enjoyable evening at the Hemel Oktoberfest. The venue/set up was fabulous and staff were very friendly. The music was well chosen and the 'Ommpah' band was amazing! Unfortunately the sound system had huge amounts of reverb on and it was difficult to hear what the DJ/compere was saying. The VIP table was well positioned. The main negatives were the choice of drinks available. For the price we paid for the table the beer choice was very limited and I actually didn't like either of them, although I love German Wheat beer, both light and dark. There was also no red wine. The drinks were also very expensive and they ran out of beer and cider at the bar at 9pm which really affected our enjoyment of the evening and was unforgivable. The food choice was OK and good quality. The toilet provision was also very basic for the price of the tickets. It could do with a few tweaks but has lots of potential. I'm not sure I'd go again unless there were some changes made.

Had a great time last year, this year seems to gone to pot, brought 7 tickets. When we arrived we waited about 10mins for a stein of beer, not to bad. Went back for another and waited 45 mins then was told their running out of beer, still didn't get served. We couldn't even get to the bar to get our £5 back on our plastic stein glass. So spent £144 on the tickets plus £35 on the steins. So we spent £180 on basically 1 beer each that we paid £70 for so that was £250. What a waste of money. I will be putting this on Twitter and Facebook. I will also be contacting customer services for a full refund.

Went with 5 other people we are all of the same opinion, very poor experience all round would never return. Spoke to many people there and they all said the same thing.

It was poorly organized drinks and food well and truly overpriced!! Toilet facilities were very poor tables rammed together!!! Then they ran out of beer by 10 pm!!! The ques for the bar were horrendous!! Last year it was sooo well organized this year it was very badly organized!!! We left early as we didn't enjoy it !!!

This Oktoberfest on the Saturday evening was a complete shambles. Waiting for over 1 hour 20 minutes to order our first drink whilst being jostled by other people was terrible. It's a shame as I came here last year and it was fantastic. Very, very disappointed.

My husband and I travelled from Worcester to come to this event, we were invited by our friends who had been the previous years, they were disgusted at the event this year and were highly embarrassed that they had asked us. Even though we have never been before, we to were disgusted. I honestly cannot believe that your company could even begin to feel that was a successful event. The must was awful, the bar..... well what can I say it wasn't even really a bar. The food stalls, all 2, yes only 2, were shocking and we got served COLD food then when we asked for another that was warm it certainly wasn't served to us with a smile that's for sure. Then to top it all off the bar had to close early at 10am because they ran out of gas/beer???????? Shocking shocking shocking. Never again will we go to an Oktoberfest and never will we recomend that anyone else goes. We are trying to find a way to get a refund as I know from the Oktoberfest Hemel Hempstead face book page that there are also a number of other people who were feeling as disgusted and have requested refunds. Shocking there are no other words to describe what a dismal and disgusting event this was.

I went on Saturday night and my hole experience was completely ruined by the waiting time for the bar which was an hour. I arrived at 7 with my friends and left when it finished . in that space of time I was only able to be served twice. then to top it off at the end I paid a deposit for mine and my friends steins, brought then back at the end to receive my refund only to be told that I didn't
have a ticket so which I was never given so I couldn't claim my money back!!! not impressed at all

Not as good as last year,
Poorly organised this year bar situation was awfull, and at one point the beer pumps wasn’t working,
Only two food stalls this year.
Music and atmosphere was good,
Just venue and organisation was awful.
