Review of Hedkandi @ Cargo : London
Nice tunes but obviously had failed to do sound checks for singers. Bit chaotic on the stage. Get the feeling that this lot need to retire. Dancers were aimed at a male audience and as such there was little in the way of edi - a tad embarrassing in a modern setting. Venue was very small and dirty and drinks stupidly expensive. They tried to ask for ID when we went in. Of course we had none as they had failed to stipulate that as an entry requirement. Slow and tedious queue for cloakroom. There was a mainly nice crowd. Don't think I will be queuing for this again.

Review of Hedkandi @ Cargo : London
Nice venue, music was good apart from some of the singers. Drink prices were astronomical with signs saying spirits only served as doubles at £15 and £7.50 for a non branded can of lager.
On the whole it was a very expensive day out that could have been better.

Review of Hedkandi @ Cargo : London
Were not allowed entry as we didn’t have ID as we were nit told when buying the tickets that we needed to bring ID. Only after a lot of fuss were we allowed in. A man named Jack on the door was rude arrogant and not empathetic at all . Will did never ever go to that venue again. I went with my cousin who has been to other Hed Kandi events and said the music was the worst she’d ever been to. Such a shame as it was meant to be a special day out and it certainly wasn’t .

Review of Hedkandi @ Cargo : London
Nightmare getting in as neither Skiddle or hed kandi had advised people that they needed ID. Badly handled by the management and door staff. After 45 minutes of standing outside an events person managed to get us in. Drinks - firstly, no cider! Why?? Secondly, prices - disgusting! £7.50 for a beer and £29 for two vodka and diet c**es. There was a sign saying that spirits were double measures as standard but that was not the case and I had to point out the sign to the bar staff. I don’t mind paying inflated prices being in town and in a club but that was ridiculous. The club itself was small, not small and cosy / intimate but small and annoying. One room for the music but because it was so small you were getting pushed about by people trying to get past to the bar or the toilets. It was really bright too. Toilets - again, disgusting! Dirty, no hooks on the doors to hang your bag, no toilet roll, only two soaps and no paper towels or hand driers to dry your hands. I would say that the best part of the whole thing was being in the smoking area and I don’t smoke! And it was a nice crowd and a good age group. I would NEVER go to an event at Cargo again and I’m not sure I’d go to another hed kandi event either. In the last few months I have been to print works and Leak Street and both venues were spot on. Cargo - I wouldn’t rate it even 1 out of 10.

Review of Hedkandi @ Cargo : London
Not the nicest venue, but hed kandi decorations helped to make it a bit more glam. No cloakroom - was nobody there to man it. C**ktails were delicious, although quite pricey. Amazing music, sax, percussion and dancers. We had a great time.
Some had issues getting in as weren’t told to bring id, and it was required for entry.
