Review of Altered States
A good event but they have put in a narrow corridor on the balcony, if you want to go to the smoking area you can't get past the people standing up there. It's a stupid idea and unnecessary. The balcony area used to be a great place to view but now there is no room. The new screed blocks view and causes congestion. One guy in the crowd was really creepy. He was approaching all the girls and hitting on them and touching them. Security want interested and did nothing.
The psytrance music was great though.

Review of African Head Charge
I will always recommend AHC, and Adrian Sherwood, as the true masters they are - but as customer I can't recommend Skiddle or this event promoter's Ticket Refund / Resale policies. Skiddle ticketholders who buy early then simply can't attend (illness), and who genuinely ask to re-sell early in advance, are ignored other than be told to try to pass them to a friend (not ideal, gig not local to my area). I lost all ticket money paid for 3 tickets... but am very glad to have supported a band I revere.
