Rectory Cottages venue information

Rectory Cottages was built in 1475 to 1476 probably by the family de Greys who held the manor of Bletchley from about 1220 to 1610. It is a fine mediaeval hammerbeamed hall, of the type found at Westminster Cathedral, Hampton Court, Chester Cathedral and other notable places. It may have been the manor house, or the manorial court, or the hunting lodge for Bletchley Park next door, or all of these. Today many local societies, clubs and groups use it as their meeting place.
