Concord HQ [LAUNCH PARTY] on Thursday 17th October 2019

[Artist Profiles]

Izco // You may recognise the UKG DJ from ASAP Rocky & Mura Masa’s “Lovesick” music video where the DJ/Producer took centre stage, however Izco has proven to be more than just a face on a camera by channeling his sound as a multi talented artist. His versatile catalogue ranges from Lo-fi remix’s of hood anthems by artists like Harlem Spartans to his own self-produced garage projects.

P From Lee // This north Londoner’s portfolio speaks for itself. P From Lee is a lyrical heavy-hitter with banger after banger to his name. He’s worked with some your favourites, having collaborated with the likes of SL, Cosmo Pyke, Capo Lee and of course fellow Ammi Boyz member Nigz. So fasten your seatbelts and get ready for Box on October 17th, where the Ammi Boyz general will be unleashing round after round of microphone artillery.

Teefordaplug (Host) // Having hosted her own events in Brum the last few years, Tee’s seen line ups including House of Pharoahs, Murkage Dave, P-rallel and more. We thought we would give Nottingham a warm welcome by leaving the night in the good hands of someone with a passion for the music we represent. Tee’s a close friend of ours at Concord and recently hosted the House of Pharoahs Seasons tour stop in Birmingham (which she killed!), so you best believe her knowledge of what’s popping is on lock.

Chef Dee // Head baker at the Lostboys collective, Chef Dee is no stranger to cooking up a Trap or Hip Hop mix that’ll wake the neighbours. The young 0115 based DJ has started gaining a lot more spotlight since putting out his mix for Kiss FM and has even landed himself bookings overseas at Paris fashion week for brands like Unknown London.

JPNTN // This guy is cold and the people are taking notice. DJ target invited this MC, alongside with others, to the BBC 1Xtra studio recently for a 60 minute takeover set on radio time which was absolute shellings. The frequent YSK Jamie collaborater, has been active in UK Trap and Hip Hop for a while and has gained a reputation for his distinct and captivating flows on tracks like Ipman and Nobody Knows

Kirby Forest // Forest’s sound is a laid back, jazzy kind of Hip Hop with bassy and alternative vibes. High Snobiety described him as a “Heady mix between the Black Lodge from Twin Peaks and a freestyle showcase of burgeoning MC’s.” With the release of his highly-anticipated EP 'Nights Before Treehouse', Kirby Forest is making waves from London to Atlanta. It’s no wonder that this guy’s been described by Notion magazine as being “beyond his years with his effortless ability to spit emotive and mouthful flows over experimental and Lo-Fi soundscapes.”

Jack Bagshaw // Bagshaw recently supported House of Pharoahs on their Seasons tour stop in Birmingham and has a reputation in the 0121 for delivering the goods on his icey Trap and Soul mix’s on radio stations like Subtle FM and Reprezent. Expect nothing but sprinkles of finesse at the Concord HQ launch from the multi-genred DJ. OKI // We will be opening up our launch party with an hour of Future beats from an up and coming talent in the new genres of music erupting in the UK right now. The young DJ/Producer has been making waves on SoundCloud since putting out his “Sounds of the near future” mixes on Sphere radio.

Kaz // ...has been at the forefront of the new wave of Trap emerging in the UK recently, spitting over smooth Trap beats with his distinct and slick 0115 flow. The young artist first made waves by getting Notts on the map with his JDZ media spitfires back when he was 16, but since then Kaz has evolved with the times and now effortlessly flexes his UK Trap sound.

Music Genres:

Hip Hop, UK Garage
