Redroom The Oakwood Glossop

The Oakwood is becoming famous for Live music and DJ nights every Friday and Saturday Night. 30 mins from Manchester and 30 mins from Sheffield the pub is situated in the High Peak National Park and equidistant of two hugely musical cities.

Redroom promotions is named after the now eponymous red curtained function room which holds the weekly alternative music nights bringing the best talent both known and unknown to Glossop and the surrounding areas - covering vast genres of music, they can change from Trad Folk to Greek gypsy Punk in the space of a week they keep the musical tasyes very wide ranging.
in the past has seen such internationally acclaimed acts as John Smith, Damien O'Kane, Denis jones, Liz Green, The Miserable Rich, Table, The Random Family, Stealing Sheep, Bob Cheevers..... amongst many, many more.

Redroom has grown in clientele, credibility and diversity of music talent over the last 3 years with well over 100 shows under their belt they have fast become one of the venues artists want to play thanks to the incredible sound, appreciative audience and friendly staff.
