Who we work with

A full list of tickets we currently have on sale can be found at Tickets On Sale - you can also check our list of festivals on our Festivals area.

How does it work?

Our affiliate programme allows you to link to our What's On Guide and receive a commission for every ticket sale generated from your referral. You can either link to our What's On Guide homepage, or direct visitors to particular events. We track this referral, then if the visitor makes a ticket purchase within the next 30 days, we credit you with a % of the revenue generated.

Commissions

A ticket price is made up of two parts. The first part is the face value of the ticket, which is set by the event organiser. We pay this face value directly to the promoter without taking any cut ourselves.

The second part is our booking fee, which is added to cover our margin and operating expenses. This is typically 10-15% of the face value and is retained by Skiddle. For sales which you have referred to us, we'll automatically credit you with a percentage of this booking fee (or a flat fee if you prefer).

For a regular club night, earnings start at around 10p-50p per ticket. For events such as New Year's Eve, or summer festivals, earnings can be up to £4 per ticket.

Commission rates will vary depending upon the size and popularity of your website, as well as how you will be integrating the events. Our commission structures are very generous and pay out much higher rates than most other ticket agents. Your commission will start at 30% of our revenue. We review commission rates regularly to reward affiliates who are performing well.

How much technical knowledge do I need?

Our 'quicklink' system means that integrating with our affiliate program is as easy as linking from your website to ours. We also have event feeds and widgets to make your integration seamless for bigger websites.

Cookie Lifetime

Once a visitor has arrived on our website, from yours, we set a cookie which tracks this relationship. This stays valid for 30 days. The advantage of our tracking system is that you still get credited for a sale if your visitor doesn't make a ticket purchase straight away - as long as it's within the 30 days we'll still credit you, even if they come back to us direct!

Payments

Commissions are tracked in real-time, so you can login at anytime and view your earnings. Once the event has occured we then pay you all due commissions at the end of the month. Our payment threshold is £25 - if your earnings are less than this we will roll the amount over until next month. We pay via Faster Payment Service, meaning your funds hit your account within 2 hours of our transfer.

Who can join?

If you have a live, functioning website then follow the link below and we'll check your eligibility. We don't have any strict criteria, we just ask that you have a decent website, that doesn't contain anything offensive. Please note that if you are a promoter selling tickets with us, you will not be eligible for our affiliate scheme, however we can still offer you a cobranded checkout for your website if you wish!
