London oozes history. It's a place where you can walk along the same streets as the Kings and Queens of the past, taking in sights like Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Parliament, Piccadilly Circus and the Theatre District in the West End.
There are plenty of hotels to choose from and sightseeing is easy. London cabbies are famous for their courtesy and consider themselves tour guides, having excellent experience and knowledge of the incredible city.
If that isn't enough, the famous double decker buses are a convenient way to see the sights. London is full of entertainment so you will never be bored. Check out one of the many free museums and galleries or take a shopping trip to well-known Oxford Street. And if you're a new or returning student, you can head here for our Freshers Guide to London.
If you get a bit peckish London is full of restaurants from all different cultures, so you’re always spoilt for choice. And if you fancy a night out, there are plenty of nightclubs and bars where you could be sharing the dancefloor with a celebrity, or if you fancy something different you could try a boat party - anything is possible in London.
