Biography

Irish producer DeFeKT(aka Matthew Flanagan) has been a tireless advocate of true electro over the last number of years, steadily honing his hardware based sound that has earned him a devoted domestic fan base, and admirers all through the electro community. DeFekT released an album in late 2010 on Takeover recordings called 'Stimulus' with accompanying 12" vinyl which gained great support from Dave Clarke.Matt also works under another alias called 'ESS(electronic speech systems)' and just released a 12" ep called "Machine talk" on Umwelt's Newflesh record label.
