Adele wins big at the BRITS and Lorde pays tribute to Bowie

We round up all of the winners and the performances of the night from this year's BRIT Awards.

Adele came out on top at the BRITS taking home a grand total of four accolades at the 02 Arena in London.

She took home: 'Best Female Solo Artist', 'Album Of The Year', 'Best Single' and 'Global Success' which was resented by Tim Peake from the International Space Station. Of course, rounded off with a few expletives in her acceptance speech.

James Bay notched 'British Male Solo Artist', Best group went to Coldplay, Catfish and The Bottlemen were the 'British Breakthrough Act' and the Directioners powered 1D to the fan voted 'British Video' for 'Drag Me Down'.   

The performances of the night went to Lorde's tribute to Bowie with 'Life On Mars', Rihanna who was joined by Drake for 'Work' and James Bay's link up with Bieber for hits 'Sorry' and 'Love Yourself'. 

Turning a head towards the international acts, Tame Impala bagged the International group accolade, Bjork took home International Female and Bieber got his hand on the 'International Male Award'.
