Pool and beach parties have really taken a hold in Ibiza over the past couple of years. You were hosting tINI & The Gang at Sirocco Beach Club this summer… how's that been? Your closing featured you and Dice B2B. Is a repeat likely in Birmingham on 16th Nov?
This summer has been more than amazing for me. After we decided to start with 'tINI & The Gang' again it started so well and each week this little party became bigger. More and more people came to dance at the beach, the vibe was very special. We only had one security working - that says a lot! I am very happy that people loved my party as much as I do. The closing party was very special for me too, as I played a rare b2b set with Dice. I always enjoy that and I guess (and hope), it's the same for him. But no, unfortunately you can't expect another b2b in Birmingham this time! But I'm sure we won't disappoint you anyways.

DJs are a migratory bunch, following the sun around the globe. Without making us too envious, what's your favourite southern hemisphere DJing destination country and club around this time of year?
Well yes, I am definitely blessed with my job. There are some amazing places to go and play, especially in our European Winter time. I would say the whole South America is perfect for that. I will never forget my first tour there, visiting for example Peru. I am already looking forward to playing at the BPM festival in January for the 3rd time. Playa del Carmen in Mexico at that time became an important spot for the growing electronic music scene!

It's yours and all the Desolat crew's first time at Gibb Street Warehouse. It's a great warehouse space with a killer sound system... excited?
Well after reading that sentence, even more! Can't wait! Also I'm excited to see my boys again. As I've moved to the States now, I won't see them too much anymore in the next months! Hanging out with them is always fun.

What's coming next from you production-wise?
I am working on a lot of new tracks - maybe a new album? New remixes and collaborations! I am using the cold weather out there in NYC to stay in in my home studio and work on new tINI beats!

Three desert Island essentials please?
- The person you love
- Sunscreen
- something to make music… a guitar and bongos?
