It's been an incredible first year of operations for MODU:LAR, who in the past 12 months have been joined by the likes of Desolat favourite tINI, Fathers and Sons boss Julian Perez, minimal techno titan Rhadoo and label mate Dan Andrei, Rotate Berlin resident Sander Baan, ENTER. mainstay Bella Sarris and Leftroom anchor Sam Russo amongst a lot more.

With six of the acts playing in Liverpool for the very first time, MODU:LAR has been a fresh of breath air in the city's underground scene, whilst the night's all about the music approach has garnered it a significant following of like-minded techno fiends.

For its first birthday, MODU:LAR have invited Japanese minimal pioneer Fumiya Tanaka along to Haus at Camp and Furnace for his first set on British soil outside of London.

Having been embroiled in electronic music for over two decades now, Fumiya was one of the first people to champion techno in Japan, whilst his work has often found itself on scene leading imprints like Perlon and Tresor, as well as his own pivotal labels Sundance and Torema. Hear him in the mix above.

Also on the bill will be a live set from Ion Ludwig, who makes a hugely anticipated return to MODU:LAR after a truly mind-bending performance last time out. Residents Scott Grant and Brennan round off the line up. Grab your MODU:LAR tickets here.
