Patrick Topping, Wolf Alice and more music stars join Labour Party rallies

In one final push ahead of Thursday's general election, the Labour Party will host the grand finale of its campaign, welcoming some famous faces and political figureheads to six locations in the UK. 

Each rally will have a DJ, musician, a speaker, a senior Labour politician and a first-time voter. Party leader Jeremy Corbyn will be speaking at one rally and will be live-streamed to the others.

The party have come out and supported the music industry in the Labour manifesto, so it's no surprise that has been reciprocated. Page 95 states "music venues play a vital role in supporting the music industry’s infrastructure and ensuring a healthy music industry continues in Britain. Labour will review extending the £1,000 pub relief business rates scheme to small music venues."

The locations and guests are below: 

In Birmingham, Clean Bandit and Steve Coogan will join Jeremy Corbyn at the green space on New Canal Street. 

In Croydon, Floating Points, Wolf Alice, Jermain Jackman, Tanya Franks and Ben Elton will join John McDonnell.

In Warrington, Patrick Topping, Reverend And The Makers and Maxine Peake will join Rebecca Long-Bailey at at Parr Hall. 

In Glasgow, Funk Butcher and Becci Wallace will join Neil Findlay and Angela Feeney.

In Brighton, Enzo Siffredi and Robb Johnson will join Emily Thornberry.

In Barry, Carolyn Harris will present the livestreamed performances.

The other exact locations for each rally are being announced today.
