Residencies have been announced, lineups have been revealed, and we’ve had a Skyscanner tab ready to go on our phones for weeks now - Ibiza 2024 is coming. 

If you’ve been wondering, “When are the Ibiza opening parties?” the answer is, so soon we can’t sit still! Well, that’s true for some of them. While some opening parties are going down as soon as this weekend, some arrive further into the year to mark the beginning of a residency. Yep, if we’re counting all types of opening parties, they go down anywhere from the end of April right down to September. 

Check out the best Ibiza opening parties in 2024 below, covering all of the best clubs in Ibiza plus other clubbing venues on the island. To make it a little simpler, we've organised them into venue opening parties and residency opening parties.

Ushuaia Ibiza Opening Party

When: Saturday 27th April 2024 

Where: Ushuaia Ibiza in Sant Antoni De Portmany, Ibiza 

Before we get into this, it’s worth pointing out that Ushuaia and Hi are joining forces for their opening parties, with Ushuaia’s starting at 1pm and Hi’s at 11pm, after Ushuaia’s has ended. So basically, if you’ve got the stamina, you can go to Ushuaia’s opening bash and then straight to Hi’s after. Okay, now let’s take a look at Ushuaia’s opening party… 

A biggun, Ushuaia brings American DJ ANYMA for Genesys' Ibiza debut. He’ll be joined by Franky Wah, Maceo Plex, Layla Benitez, Eynka, and more.

Hi Ibiza Opening Party 2024 

When: Saturday 27th April 2024

Where: Hi Ibiza in Sant Antoni De Portmany, Ibiza

Hi's opening bash welcomes Chris Stussy, Hannah Laing, Adam Beyer, Eliza Rose, Jamie Jones, Patrick Mason, TSHA, Honey Dijon, Loco Dice, and more for a huge celebration that kicks off at 11pm and goes until late late.

Ibiza Rocks Opening Party with JAZZY

When: Saturday 4th May 2024

Where: IBIZA ROCKS HOTEL in Sant Antoni De Portmany

To celebrate the start of the 2024 Ibiza season, Ibiza Rocks brings a fresh, all-female lineup for the big opening party. Irish dance-pop sensation Jazzy, known for her track ‘Giving Me’ and her vocals on Belters Only tracks such as ‘Make Me Feel Good’, headlines. 

Joining her will be some incredible DJs. Liverpool’s Essel, Kildare-based Jen Payne, Dublin’s DJ Kayleigh Glynn, and resident Zoe London complete the bill.

Grand Opening Party   

When: Friday 3rd May 2024 

Where: O Beach in Sant Antoni De Portmany

O Beach’s Grand Opening Party starts summer with a bang. The opening bash gives you the opportunity to experience the beach resort’s new themes and characters while enjoying fresh house and Ibiza anthems. If you’re looking to start your Ibiza stint in style, this might be the one.

Amnesia Opening Party

When: 11th May 2024 

Where: Amnesia in Sant Antoni De Portmany

Amnesia starts 2024 with a two-room opening party featuring 999999999, Dennis Cruz, Kobosil, Nina Kraviz, Honey Dijon, Green Velvet, Joseph Capriati, and more. Covering house, techno, and tech house, this one requires some stamina as it’ll easily go beyond 12 hours.

Ben Hemsley Ibiza - Opening Party!

When: Sunday 16th June 2024

Where: Ibiza Rocks Hotel in Sant Antoni De Portmany

Our boy is back with another residency after smashing his debut last year! The Geordie king returns to Ibiza Rocks Hotel for an extended 12-week residency this year, every Sunday from the 16th of June to the 1st of September. This opening party will see him joined by La La, Big Miz, and Ty Gill.

When: Monday 17th June 2024

Where: Eden Ibiza in Sant Antoni De Portmany

Worried About Henry is back with another Monday night Ibiza residency in 2024, bringing the biggest drum and bass lineup on the island. Kicking things off with one of the best Ibiza opening parties of 2024, they bring Hybrid Minds, K Motionz, Nathan X, and Charlie Tee.

Elrow Opening Party

When: Saturday 25th May 2024 

Where: Amnesia in Sant Antoni De Portmany

The “world’s craziest party” lands in Amnesia on Saturdays, spinning tunes from 11pm until late. While we don't know which artists will be sorting the tunes at the opening party just yet, the lineup for the entire residency is solid with names such as Cloonee, Fleur Shore, Fatboy Slim, Shermanology, Ewan McVicar, Joris Voorn, Alisha, Solardo, Mau P, and Paige Tomlinson.

SHINE - Opening Party With Paul van Dyk, Aly & Fila + More

When: Thursday 4th July 2024

Where: Eden Ibiza in Sant Antoni De Portmany

Paul van Dyk is back with SHINE, bringing trance music to the island once again. The eleven-week residency begins on the 4th of July and sees Aly & Fila, Weekend Heroes, and Marc Van Linden join the trance titan at Eden. covering euphoric to progressive, deep to emotive, and beyond, this is sure to be one of the best Ibiza opening parties in 2024.

Eric Prydz Presents [CELL]

When: Monday 24th June 2024 

Where: Hi Ibiza in Sant Antoni De Portmany

One of the biggest innovators in dance is back at Hi this year, but this time, he brings a new show that’ll leave you in awe. Following the success of his HOLO show last year, Prydz brings a new, never-before-seen audio and visual concept to immerse dancers. With a soundtrack specially chosen to compliment Hi Ibiza, it’s going to be unreal.

ANTS Day & Night Opening Party

Where: Ushuaia Ibiza and Hi Ibiza in Sant Antoni De Portmany

Over a decade old now, ANTS continues to bring the island diverse lineups packed with innovators and future stars. The opening party boasts Paul Kalkbrenner, Andrea Oliva B2B Nic Fanciulli, Artbat, Franky Wah, Mau P, Mason Collective, Fleur Shore, Honeyluv, AJ Christou, and more spread across both Ushuaia and Hi.

Where: Eden Ibiza in Sant Antoni De Portmany

If hard dance and fast techno are more your speed, Irish party brand Reboot brings Outset to Ibiza with the wildest DJs on the decks at each bash. Outset’s opening party brings Irish talents including the huge blk. and the rapidly rising Black Traffic. Reboot's resident DJs join as do some other names who'll be announced later.

Levels Ibiza Opening

When: Tuesday 7th May 2024

Where: Monkey Club Ibiza in Sant Antoni De Portmany

Following five years of sell-out events in the UK, Levels comes to Ibiza in 2024 with a brand new residency which boasts over 30 upcoming artists and special guests. The opening party brings Fletch, Vito, Blondi, Jack Gardner, and Em Beswich to spin tunes while special effects and lighting create an immersive world to escape into.

Music On - Opening Party 

When: Friday 17th May 2024

Where: Pacha in Sant Sant Antoni De Portmany

Italian techno hero Marco Carola brings his party and label Music On to Pacha for Fridays packed with techno house. A key player in dance music since the 90s, Carola, who’s also known for his marathon sets, brings international guest DJ with him, beginning his residency on the 17th of May.

ABODE Sundays - May 26th (Opening Party)

When: Sunday 26th May 2024

Where: Eden Ibiza in Sant Antoni De Portmany

ABODE Records comes to Eden every Sunday from the 26th of May until the 29th of September. To kick things off, wAFF, Will Taylor, and Enzo Is Burning soundtrack the opening night, which happens to fall on a bank holiday weekend!

Ibiza Rocks presents Next Gen

When: Wednesday 29th May 2024

Where: IBIZA ROCKS HOTEL in Sant Antoni De Portmany

Next Gen is Ibiza Rocks’ new party which serves to introduce dance music fans to the dance titans of the future. For the first party, UKG’s Badger tops the bill, joined by multi-genre DJ Flava D, Fatboy Slim’s son Woody Cook, and Polish-born Middlesbrough MC Cunning.

Armin Van Buuren

When: Sunday 1st September 2024 

Where: Ushuaia Ibiza in Sant Antoni De Portmany

Trance icon Armin van Buuren comes to the outdoor club Ushuaia on five Sundays this year. His first appearance goes down on the 1st of September and will see the Armada Music boss and A State Of Trance creator bring emotionally charged sounds that lovers of big room sounds will adore.

ONE MORE TIME! Ibiza Classics Only OPENING PARTY

When: Thursday 9th May 2024

Where: Eden Ibiza in Sant Antoni De Portmany

1if you prefer the old school sounds, One More Time celebrates the retro bangers through the late 90s right through to the early noughties. Bringing the golden era of house and trance to Eden with tunes spun by Seb Fontaine, Graham Sahara, and Vicky Devine, you can expect a nostalgic vibe at this one.

SOUNDCLOUD presents Casso, Daire & Multunes

When: Sunday 5th May 2024

Where: IBIZA ROCKS HOTEL in Sant Antoni De Portmany

If you’re looking for something a little different, this event will definitely be one of the best Ibiza opening parties in 2024. Different from the usual offering of dance and EDM titans, Soundcloud presents welcomes Cassö, DAIRE, and Stack City’s Multunes. Expect bootlegs and unreleased edits you haven’t heard before, a pleasant change from the mainstream tunes. For this opening party, they'll be joined by Cax and Ryan Aaron.

Circoloco Ibiza - Opening Party

When: Monday 29th April 2024 

Where: DC10 in Sant Antoni De Portmany

Circoloco celebrates 25 years at DC10 this year, so, as usual, they’re going big. Kicking off at 4pm, their opening party will be soundtracked by a fair few DJs including Skream, Mochakk, Seth Troxler, BLOND:ISH, Chloe Caillet, and more.

Defected Opening Party

When: Tuesday 7th May 2024 

Where: Ushuaia Ibiza in Sant Antoni De Portmany

The legendary house record label moves to Ushuaia this year instead of Eden, bringing some of the best house lineups on the island this year. Among those on the lineup for Defected's opening party are Dennis Ferrer B2B Eats Everything, Louie Vega, Carl Craig B2B The Blessed Madonna, Sam Divine B2B Low Steppa, and Riva Starr.

HE.SHE.THEY Opening Party

When: Tuesday 30th July 2024 

Where: Amnesia in Sant Antoni De Portmany

HE.SHE.THEY. is back! The party that welcomes all genders, all races, all sexualities - everyone - tears up Amnesia on Tuesdays. 

While we don't know who exactly will be on the decks for HE.SHE.THEY's opening party just yet, we know we've got some of the best house, techno, and disco to look forward to. Check back closer to the date for the opening party lineup.

Glitterbox 

When: Sunday May 5th 2024 

Where: Hi Ibiza in Sant Antoni De Portmany

Shaking things up a bit, this year, Glitterbox unveils a retro-inspired theme. The residency will see loads of smashing artists and DJs including special guest Chaka Khan. But Glitterbox’s opening party brings DJs including Groove Armada, Melvo Baptiste, Natasha Diggs, Derrick Carter, Horse Meat Disco, Fat Tony, Yasmin, and Melon Bomb.

Pure Pacha - Opening Party

When: Thursday 9th May 2024 

Where: Pacha in Sant Antoni De Portmany

Robin Schulz comes to Pacha on Thursdays, blending house, electro, and pop. Known for his massive and instantly recognisable edit of ‘Prayer in C’, the German DJ launches into his residency on the 9th of May.
