Building on the roaring success of the festivals recent fourth edition, the organisers behind Lancaster's favourite open air music event, Highest Point have announced that they will return to the magnificent grounds of Williamson Park - from Thursday 11th - Sunday 14th May 2023 - with tickets now available to buy.

The inner-city summertime soiree, which takes residence of the highest parkland space in the historic northern city for one extended weekend each year, hence its name, regularly offers music fans a place whereby a diverse mix of genres and styles can be enjoyed.

Last month's instalment saw headliners Richard Ashcroft, Clean Bandit, and Kaiser Chiefs rocking the Main Stage, while a host of electronic music icons, the likes of Judge Jules, Shy FX and chart smashing duo, Basement Jaxx, supplied the energy at The Sundial Tent, The Memorial Stage and the atmospheric Woods Stage.

Other sought-after names who appeared across the weekend included Mae Muller, Mimi Webb, Sigala, Harriet Jaxxon and The Lottery Winners, to name but a few.

A renowned family-friendly experience, the event boasts a range of alternative entertainment options for the mini festival-goers among us, from arts and crafts workshops to cinema screenings and much more, with the concluding day of celebrations coming to a head with the Big Family Day Out

Helpings of frothy beer, delicious cocktails and refreshing gins can also be found in their plenty scattered around the festival site, with a mouthwatering selection of food offerings from favoured local traders also available to sample.

The programme for next year's event has yet to be announced. Watch this space for more details as they come.
