PBR Streetgang have been the epitome of the slow burn success story in electronic music. Setting up shop as a duo back in 2003 (the pair recently put on their Soundcloud their first ever recorded mix together; listen below), they've integrated themselves as DJs and promoters on the vibrant scene of Leeds over the full course of the last decade.

They've since become respected party starters across the globe, inking a residency at We Love in Ibiza, frequently appearing at the likes of the Garden festival and becoming renowned for their ability to move effortlessly across a wide spectrum of sounds.

We caught up for a quick chat nearly a year after we last spoke, catching up on what plans the duo had ahead of the summer, including a date at the Wickerman festival, that Ibizan residency and who will win that football trphy everyone seems to be talking about...

Hi guys, good to catch up again! What are you up to this exact moment in time then, other than speaking with us?

We're sat in our studio, taking five on this remix to answer your lovely selves.

That's nice of you. We've clocked a date at Egg London this month (full details). You enjoy playing the capital much?

Always. London is a great city and nearly always good crowds. We like to come down an play a few times a year

Where else can we find you club wise in the UK?

All over usually but the next few months were doing a lot of festivals over the summer so this will be one of our few club gig in the coming months.

So you're taking your fun to fields then, excellent. Which ones in particular are you looking forward to?

We couldn't pick any favourites, so probably easier to just list the lot. The next few months is looking like Gottwood, Hideout and The Garden Festival (both Croatia), Love box, Secret Garden party and wickerman all in July.

Then Beacons festival in August before Bestival, Festival Number 6, Amsterdam's Into the woods and Unknown (also Croatia) in September.

Moving abroad, we've seen your back at We Love this year again. It's an exciting time for the club with some change being undertaken, are you looking forward to the new chapter?

Absolutely! We did the opening party last weekend and it was one of the busiest and best we've been to yet. So if that's anything to go by we cant wait to see how the season develops.

You're also playing the Garden Festival, what have been your experiences of Croatia and Tisno like?

Simply it's one of our favourite places to play anywhere in the world and the people at the Garden festival are so great. We've been playing for them for the past seven years so it kinda feels like "family" now which is so rare these days.

Your old pal from We Love Mark Broadbent will be programming some of the club shows at Barbarellas there over the summer. How good a match is that for both parties?

It's a great touch, Mark was very fond of the place anyway on his visit out here as part of the We Love crew so for someone with his booking nous and power matched with such a unique open air club as Barbarerllas, we think it's going to bring some pretty special parties to the area that wouldn't have happened otherwise.

Moving onto the studio, what music have you got out at the minute? and what's forthcoming in the future?

Well very soon we have remix of Vito & Druzzi on one of our Fave labels Throne of Blood. Then our Rework of the classic Soldiers of Twilight 'Believe' as part of the 2020 Vision 20th anniversary release package (listen to Ralph Lawson's previously released version below).

Then later in the year another EP for our boys at Futureboogie... see in store for details!

And finally... who's going to win the World cup?!

Ireland ... oh wait there not in it are they .. shows how much we know about football. Er seriously we'd like to say England but realistically Netherlands if they carry on playing they way they did against Spain. That'd be our bet.

PBR StreetGang play Egg London Friday June 20th, Wickerman festival 25th -26th July and consistently at We Love... across the season. Find their other gigs here.
