Review of Ibiza Proms on the Pier at Blackpool Pier
I have to say that this event was very disappointing... Firstly VIP??? What VIP? What a waste of money, a refund is needed, all you got was a seating area inside away from the music? A bar that was linked to the main bar so still as busy, and then 5 ladies toilets and 2 mens??
The drinks price's were nothing other than disgusting, i don't mind paying for drinks but £6.25 for a cap of spirit in warm pop is ridiculous. Nothing on draught, bar queues huge, ran out of most things, no ice????
Music!! The speakers crackles constantly, the sounding was terrible most of the time. ...
'Join us in July as our incredible orchestra take you on a musical journey...' this is what tickets sold as on your site.
Waiting 5 hours for the first set from the orchestra for them to kill our favourite song , In This Silence!!!! you could see the conductor requesting for the performance to be cut but they continued to be off beat and out of tune.
We left like majority of people by the second set, first few songs didn't even recognise.
Also the music coming from the crackling conservatory should have been turned off for the main event, after all that's why we were all there??? For the orchestra .
Very badly organised , heads should be hung in shame for numerous things and lessons learnt.
Roll on Pete Tong for a proper Live Orchestra .... and paid the same price as i did for these???
Hopefully the right thing is done here and refunds given for the extra monies paid for VIP as least!

Great day. Lining for drink tickets then lining again for drinks was a little s**t.. Easier to pay card or cash.. Its like lining twice for a drink..
Apart from that its was a great day..

Vip area was not really VIP. Sound bleed from side garden bar and main stage was awful. Garden bar music was too loud and drowned/distorted main stage. This should have been a quieter element ( I work in events etc 👍) Street food advertised was just chips, hot dogs and burgers- expected more variety. Drinks price and system as a rip off.

For the price of the ticket and the extortionate drink prices it really wasnt worth it! Shame because the music that was on was really enjoyable. The drinks starting running out only a couple of hours into the day, had to pay £6 for a can of Fosters!!!

Over priced. Poor toilet facilities for disabled people. Too much time wasted in a que. Poorly stocked bars. Cheap sound system. Only saving grace.... Weather and North people!

Drinks were extortionate at £25 for 4 cans or 8 soft drinks and you had to have 2 soft drinks at once which is a pain when one of you is the driver and the other the drinker!! . Probably wouldn't go again unless prices are addressed.

Review of Ibiza Proms on the Pier at Blackpool Pier
The event was good as the music and atmosphere was great but we went VIP and I have to say it’s the worst VIP experience of my life complete waste of money. Had to queue up with everyone else to buy drinks vouchers which then made the VIP bar pointless there was no fraught larger on so charging £5 for a can of fosters was a joke !!!! Then the security wasn’t checking wristbands all the time so half the people in VIP areas had just paid for a standard ticket.
