Review of Lisa Lashes presents Origin-L and JaX
It was good to see Lisa L. Haven't seen her in nearly 20 years. The night was busy but not packed (so much to compete with in Bristol !). The crowd was a fair mix of old school ravers / clubbers with others that came down blind to what was on. This night Lisa Lashes was playing a techno / tech-house set as opposed to her next few nights over the months when she will be playing trance and hard house sets. Her music and mixing were great though I prefer something harder and faster but I can't complain as she played some good tunes ( and I danced nearly all evening !). Finished pretty abruptly though. The club ? The Doghouse I wish would get more people going to it. It seems a secret venue but maybe too secret. Has some and will have some great nights, drinks a bit expensive but security / crowd / barstaff etc sound and want you to have a good night. I will prob go to the next Lashes night even though trance isn't my game ( which trance tho' ?)
