Club class lay out was good, toilets were clean, pamper area was a good size too but the shower area was a mud bath! We had to leave our wellies at the door and then walk through mud to get to the showers and then back through the thick mud again to get back to your wellies then attempt to re clean your feet! If there was a proper floor or even bark or straw down to soak up the mud then that would have been so much better!

Nothing was done to cover up all the mud, no loo roll, no hand towel, absolutely stunk and the showers were a joke, mud everywhere where you were supposed to get dressed, there should of been flooring down, showers were full of rubbish, used sanitary towel, blue foot covers everywhere, if there would of been a dustbin then that would of been prevented

Couldn't really comment on whole site venue as so wet and muddy. I'm sure it's lovely when dry ! Otherwise, main stage was TOO high for folk at the front to see bands clearly which was a shame. Comedy tent layout poor as had to wait for folk to exit before continuing. Would have been better having stage on long edge opposite door..less disruption to acts. LOVED the Jagerhaus stage ., good atmosphere in there. Good size of festival, not too large or too small. Loved the line up on Friday and Saturday which was why we chose to attend..Stereophonics and Manic Street Preachers on one weekend...brill ! Also introduced us to some great other bands who I would have not otherwise had the chance to see. Saxophonist with Brian Wilson was well out of order being abusive to a young security chap at front of main stage for no good reason. The security staff on the whole were excellent , efficient hard working and cheery at the same time which can be difficult at such events. I would go again depending on line up. Good range of foody places and bars suiting all tastes.

Pretty poor. Club Class were not prepared for the inclement weather conditions, which resulted in the showers becoming a mud-bath. Due to the mud and Club Class failure to deal with the conditions I did not use the facilities therefore it was a complete waste of money

Nice but not worth the money at all, many hair straighteners didn't work and weren't GHDs. Showers were badly organised and not very clean

This was my first festival experience, and I couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

There was only myself and my 5 year old (glutton for punishment), but we had the best time. Everyone was so friendly, and even in the driving rain and knee-high mud, there was a great atmosphere. At no time did we feel less involved, in danger or worried, in fact quite the opposite!

Food prices were surprisingly good, and the choice was great. Beer prices were only 10p more than my local.

Loved it so much that I booked tickets for next year within an hour of arriving home!

It would have been better if from the start boarding or flooring was down at the entrance areas, rather than wait until the rain had fallen and all was boggy. In the changing area the flooring needs to be looked into and the layout, not enough area for taking off moody boots. Was told the facility toilets would be open Monday morning but once again shut. well done to the staff for keeping toilet areas as clean as possible.

Oversubscribed, so unable to use showers due to size of the queue, so a waste of money.

Amazing weekend ...fantastic bars,.
music tents and food stalls. The security were very friendly and helpful. Could of just done with some way of making an easy way to walk on all the mud but apart from that had the best weekend.

Fantastic Festival that can't be beat set in the beautiful Lake District where you can experience a range of music from talented musicians of all genres, delicious food from four corners of the globe and of course weather from four seasons in one day. It's always memorable.

Second time at Kendall Calling - was a bit put off by all the mud (as was spoilt by the weather last year) but still had a fab time!

Mud in the entrance of the shower tent after taking wellies off?? Sodden flooring meaning that after your shower you are walking through mud again and then struggling to get wellies back on. The showers were poor compared to previous years where there were much better facilities - cubicles with doors rather than a shower curtain and hooks for shower bags and towels etc. Toilets were the only acceptable part in cleanliness although didn't even bother using much as it was so out of the way in the arena. Total rip off I would have had better look washing my hair in the rain outside.

Good facility, only down side was when you get out of the showers you have to walk bare footed back through the mud to access your wellies, some brought flip flops which was even worse as the mud would be flicking all over people in the changing area.

One of the best atmospheres at any festival that I have been too. Range of music and great after hour sets once the headliners have finished. The drinks were reasonably priced for a festival too. The only downside was how muddy it was but we still had a great time

No-one can predict the weather but at Kendal Calling the amount of thick mud was dangerous and very tiring to try and get about on - god knows how disabled people or families coped. The lack of clear signage was appalling along with no clear(large and simple to read) maps or running times. I realise the organiser's want to keep a casual atmosphere but more defined walkways with firm footing would have added to the safety of the event. After purchasing the programme some information was available but all the writing was very small and against patterned backgrounds which made it hard to read. I have attended V festival and Isle of Wight and both of these have loads of better information given out before the festival so planning can be achieved before attending. One of the headliners Franz Ferdinand which had been advertised from the beginning was actually on the Thursday night which meant purchasing another ticket - I think this is miss-description and very disappointing.

I wouldn't go again, and I left on the Saturday night as so disappointing. Would like to win my money back as feel over sold and under delivered.
