Review of Discoliscious
Event advertised as DVO’s event but she only appeared for an hour (max) and we were told on the door that we could have just paid £5 on the door rather than the +£10 pre-entry fee we did pay. The advertising made it seem like a private event and we left another event early to make sure we were there by 11pm as it was advertised as last entry time, which it was not. Music was not as advertised.

Review of Fridays at Cuba
I went looking for a Latin night. Unfortunately, it was not as expected, but that doesn't mean bad; just different. They were very friendly and kind. The drinks and the food were very nice. If you want to go and have some drinks and to have a chat; you might need to do it before the band starts as the acoustic is very powerful.

Review of Speed Dating in Leeds. Ages 25-37
There were almost an equal number of men and women, this was the only positive! The host was also lovely but I think the night would have been less awkward if there was a male host as well as a female host as most of the men at the event were either rude, shy or boring; I think a male host would have boosted them more. It was also an expensive night, most other speed dating events offer a free welcome drink so I was surprised that this one didn’t (especially since the ticket was over £15 and I didn’t meet anyone I like).
