We didn’t attend the event due to the venue change at short notice. We contacted both the agent and the event organisers to request a refund but received no reply. Moving a ‘proms in the park’ to an indoor arena is more than a venue change and alters the event entirely. Extremely disappointing.

This event was pitched as an outdoor event, no info provided to why this was changed to an indoor event and this definitely affected the acoustics and atmosphere.

Very long wait for them to start. Ticket said it starts at 7pm but they didn’t come on until 10pm. The 3 hour dj was good but a totally different vibe to the orchestra (who were incredible). No complaints about the acts, but the venue, sequencing and timing - and overall setting expectation for the audience could have made it a lot better.

It was originally meant to be in a park and family friendly then it was changed to a new venue, no offer of refund. Then closer to the event they try to sell tickets at half the price others paid and the orchestra didn’t come on until 10pm! This was far too late, original the gig was meant to be 5pm-10pm. I had no choice but to attend with my 10 year old as not offer of a refund available and if I had know they had come on so late wouldn’t have gone. The venue acoustics were also terrible

We never ended up attending due to the change of venue from an outdoor park to an indoor arena. Disappointing change as we were so looking forward to enjoying the outdoor atmosphere
