Review of Sounds From the Other City 2017
People running the event were friendly. There was loads of choice what to do all day. The Deli Lama was great - loved the goat curry, but very good veggie options too. St Phillips Church was a good venue, and we stayed there as the music was varied and interesting - from ethereal electronica to low-fi punk, all the bands were good or better! Definitely recommend to anyone seeking something a little different to the mainstream.

I had a great time, it was just as good as last year (which was my first time). Great music line up - and discovered bands I hadnt heard of before. Would definitely recommend to people next year!

Review of Sounds From the Other City 2017
First visit to this festival, definitely not the last! Great variety of acts, venues great and not too far apart and a great chilled vibe! Cannot fault the organisation, fabulous day throughout.

Review of Sounds From the Other City 2017
Excellent music, atmosphere and food. Loved getting to know new venues in the 'other' city. Only downside is the lack of variety in a number of the bars. I have a year to train myself to like real ale!

Review of Fat Out Fest 2017
Great fest, with an excellent eclectic line up. A few snags with things running to time, but these changes were handled with a relaxed attitude, befitting the overall laid back / chaotic feel of the festival. Lovely touches like screen printing your own merch was excellent. Top marks. Food offering at the fest and in the local areas was pretty poor, so would be great to see more options next time around.

Review of Fat Out Fest 2017
It was wonderful, lovely people and music that was, avant-garde but was inclusive to everybody, from townies to anarcho punks to high fashion people and more, all of whom were represented and those representing them were getting on famously. I would say the venue, needed to be organised, with signage and I would say it needed, someone to help them, manage the event and with their audio quality, to really make this event and venue, shine that bit brighter, also some, good old fashioned tidying up and cleaning, sadly it's run down and needs and deserves some serious TLC, this sort of venue is unique and needs preserving and has specialist requirements, and needs ENCOURAGING TO GROW. I also think, there should have been a more diverse food offering, because pizza and curry, are not always to everyone's taste, especially at an event that attracts, so many different people, with different backgrounds. I would definitely, attend this event again or others like it. If nothing else, we would like to meet more like minded people like we did on Friday and hear more of that awesome music and feel that amazing atmosphere. MANKIND NEEDS THIS.
