Review of Puppet Rebellion + Circus Wolves + The Sisters + The Suspects
The awesome Puppet Rebellion are always excellent. Fabulous songs. Loved the new version of 'Cupboards Painted Red'. The new single 'Fragments' has earned a bigger number of You Tube views than many signed bands get - and it deserves too. Great to hear some new tunes. It was the first time I've seen new drummer Henry and he fits right in. Can't wait till the next time.
Excellent price for four bands. All the supports had earned their place. I've not seen Circus Wolves before, but they were really good and I was especially impressed with their drummer. I've seen The Sisters before and become quite familiar with their music now. I missed the very beginning of The Suspects set, but enjoyed what I did hear - which was nearly all of it. Great job by all the bands - Well done Guys!

BlitzBeaumont's Review of Electric Wizard, Xela, The Freezing Fog at Academy 3 - Manchester
Gig was great! even with the technical problems; (E.W. blowing their amp) E.W. rocked hard and I also enjoyed Xela's oppressive noise, but just not that impressed with the Freezing Fog. All in all worth getting up at 7.00 am to cycle to the post office and pick my ticket up in torrential rain. Maybe you could post the tickets a bit earlier Skiddle?!
