Loved the venue, bars too small

The venue itself is nice but the management of standing people is nonexistent.
People pushing and barging to the front when others had been in the same place all night .
The music wasn’t very loud and it was quite hard to hear the performers whether they were singing or talking.
Felt the tickets were quite overpriced for the experience.
Would love to see Boyz II Men again but at a different venue with a better sound system

I went to watch Showaddywaddy and Bay City Rollers and both bands got the crowd singing and dancing! I felt that David Essex was not that good as I thought he might have been! Suzi Quatro was ok but it would have been better if she had sang more of her older songs!

Review of legends live UK Tour 2019

We had a great night but pretty sure some people were falling asleep during David Essex's half hearted performance. It was like he didnt want to the there. Sang mainly songs no one knew. He made very little effort. Shawaddywaddy got the crowd going and the bay city rollers were fantastic apart from I think the instruments seemed to be too loud and drowned out a bit of the quieter singing. But we knew the songs anyway. Suzi Q was fantastic also. Didnt know all of her songs but she really got the crowd going. I think they should stick to their hits rather than new stuff or in the case of David Essex songs that didnt do well. Wouldn't bother watching him again. The others I would definitely recommend. The venue was ok but Manchester wasnt my 1st choice and the trains weren't running so took hours for us to get home on the replacement bus. They took the lids off our water in the venue for health n safety reasons. But i spilt some of mine on the stairs because of that. Hmmm. Seemed more dangerous somehow. But some people had theirs thrown away. That's stupid. They never took the lid off my bottle of c**e.

APE

Absolutly sick night!!!

APE is amazing

One of the best raves in town, the sloped floor can be a bit annoying but it can't ruin a night that good. I always have a good laugh there, great atmosphere, great music and great people. would recommend this to any DnB lovers all night long!

SLOPEY

The slope was a bit annoying for me...shouldnt have worn my boots anyway tho...an would have been better if smoking was easier! But apart from the - woo!

Battles/Caribou

Battles and Caribou were great. The other DJ-type stuff didn't really suit the headliners or hold much interest. It's personal taste obviously, but I'd rather have seen one support band, an 11 O'Clock finish and a tenner off the ticket price. Felt like they were trying to do a 'Gig as a Club-Night' sort of thing. I liked the idea, but it didn't really have the atmosphere of either and the place was half-empty when Caribou went on. :(

Caribou won

I just arrived when Battles were starting... at first I thought that I wasn't hearing very well because I was too close, so I went to the upper circle, but I didn't make such a big difference... I had great expectations, and for me they were a bit of a disappointment... only 40 minutes with just tracks from the new album, and without the sound quality that one could expect from the band, it was just correct, but nothing else.

Ramadanman was cool, it was a nice set. Maybe the style didn't match the other bands very much, but it was refreshing. In the meantime they were arranging the scenario for Caribou.

Caribou was something else... I have been wanting to see them live for ages and I wasn't disappointed at all. The played most of Swim, and maybe a couple of tracks from Andorra. Every song sounded great, and all of them are amazing musicians... Dan Snaith switching from vocals, to drums, to synths with such ease! The drummer is amazing too. They closed, as I was expecting, with Sun, it was awesome, so intense. Looking forward to see them again!
