I felt about 90% of the people at the venue (Friday night) were off a similar age to me, I'm 55. there was no trouble, the atmosphere was great, the venue was right next to the tram stop. I've seen images of Creamfields, reading and other outdoor venues that have been trashed, rubbish strewn all over, there was none of this at fields of gold, respectful Generation X.
I'll definitely be going again next year.
