Review of FEARFEST 22
Was so disappointed with this year's event, have been a few times in the past and has always been a really good experience, but this year was a total mess. Couldn't get into the corridor to get to any of the stages as security were turning people away as it was too full. Due to the one way system, we couldn't turn back to get to the entrance space. We were stuck outside and unable to go anywhere, with more people being pushed out into this space and it becoming way over crowded which caused me to have my first ever panic attack. Really gutted about this as we then left without having seen any acts as we couldn't access the stages and didn't know what else to do as I couldn't put myself back into the position I was in where I had a panic attack. Thankfully, the security were really understanding and let me go contraflow to the one way system so I could get out, they offered for me to go to medical but I just wanted to get some water and fresh air and leave. I was completely sober at this point, having had a couple of drinks at home and not having the chance to get any while I was there. I think security realised that it was a total nightmare but it was absolutely out of their hands, and I really appreciated them helping me out. Overall, just super disappointed as like I said it has always been a great way to spend halloween and the lineup was amazing so we were really looking forward to it, but it just totally went wrong this year â¹ï¸
