Review of Gatecrasher 25 PRESENTS Gatecrasher Classical
Massively overhyped and unfortunately mis-sold. Went expecting a complete assault on the senses but received a lacklustre shadow of the full potential. No lasers, poor lighting, artists like Maxi Jazz only performed 2 tracks (Salve Mea and Insomnis) rather than the 5 or 6 tracks highlighted. Orchestra were good and Paul Oakenfold delivered but felt decidedly short changed and disappointed by the overall spectacle. Aso went to the afterparty where again, we left feeling taken advantage of. Venue changed from " the spiritual home" in Area to some small club called Plug with no explaination and where a can of Carlsberg and a water cost £12. Feel ripped off and milked for every penny. Won't be returning to any of their events now

Review of Gatecrasher 25 PRESENTS Gatecrasher Classical
So much promised, lasers, sound, production, song choice ,under delivered massively on everything , made the most of it but could of been so much better with 50% more effort,it felt like the minimum effort they could get away with, still enjoyed it and made the best of it but felt cheap..also bought my ticket for £49 on pre sale only to find out they reduced the price to £23 .. probably worth £20 with the effort they put in ,very let down as the other events delivered more, for less. Shame

Review of Gatecrasher 25 PRESENTS Gatecrasher Classical
Absolute rubbish, there was supposed to be a laser show and there wasn't. We couldn't hear the orchestra, which is the whole point of it being a classical event. Maxi Jazz only sung two of the four advertised songs he was supposed to sing and the man singing born slippy sung off a cue card. It was nothing like other previous Gatecrashers

City hall in January was 100% better for the music , atmosphere and the line up we was very disiponted in what we spent and what we got the best part of the night was Paul Oakenfold and the odd song from the classics

You got it very very very wrong last night Gatecrasher Classical!!... I’ve been to both the previous classicals and they blew me away!! Last night was flat and wrong on so many levels! Sound, orchestra, track choice, singers, lack of laser lighting!!.... I felt nothing! I feel more emotion / memories listening to Gatecrasher at home!!.... I think you need to address comments made!

I was really looking forward to this after the event at City Hall last year but this time there were no lasers which was really disappointing. There were some great tracks but not as good as last year.

I had a great time but what was advertised isn’t what we got, hence average ratings. Was told maxi jazz from faithless was headlining and doing all his classics. He did just 2 songs and insomnia was right near end of night.

Review of Gatecrasher 25 PRESENTS Gatecrasher Classical
No where near as much time and effort seems to have been put in for the night as with previous classical events , the sound wasn’t great from the standing area could hardly hear the orchestra over the base backing track, the fella trying to sing born slippy was dire, the production was poor especially compared to previous events in better venues, thought with it being the 25th bday there would of been a lot more effort to better previous shows, jan Johnston was missing along with the other great vocalists last year, replaced with a few seshion singers and an xfactor contestant 🙄😢
Feel quite disappointed n let down
