£7 for a gin? I went to a gin festival last year and it was £5 for a gin with the mixer and fruits. The food was boring and expensive. You couldn't go out and come back in. Not enough staff on the main bar. Were told we had to be in venue by 5pm but on Facebook it said people could still come down and get tickets on the door after then. Very expensive to get in then expensive drinks. Not told properly why we couldn't have it at Hanley Park. Who was complaining?? A disco in daylight indoors doesn't have the same atmosphere unfortunately. I love the Kings Hall but would've been better if we'd been allowed to go and sit upstairs on the balcony instead of being confined to two rooms. Staff were great and friendly, I will say that, but the pop up gin bars need to have lemonade on them as well as tonic and people kept running out of things too. Not stocked up enough. After a few hours we decided to leave before the end and get a decent priced drink and a curry over the road.

Be better later on in the day/ eve. Drinks too expensive. Need more toilets. Music good. The whole experience was something a bit different.

Overly priced. £18 for 2 double gins was absolutely extortionate. Not sure why the tickets were so overly priced either!

Having spent £27 honest English pounds on this event I expected to be greeted with a well balanced audio system and drinks prices comparable to a local pub, not the world cup prices to which I was subjected. these prices plus long wait times and incomprehensible lyrics (sound systems fault not performer) meant I left after one hour disappointed by the venue. I spent the next two hours in the local pub enjoying good beer at a reasonable price and then intended to return (arm band intact) only to be told I couldn't re-enter (dodged a bullet there). Just the worst!

Venue change 2 days prior to event. Confusion over last admission times which were different to times stated on the ticket. Alcohol prices very expensive. No atmosphere on the day. In short a waste of £23 and more atmosphere in the local pub
