Review of Last Night of the Proms Outdoor Concert
I hadn't been to the Kneller Hall concerts for a couple of years. it was a pleasant evening although the programme was shorter than I remember it. I was surprised and a bit disappointed that as the final concert for the year it was not finished with the 1812 overture with the fireworks display as it used to be. What I was really annoyed about and is nothing that this survey can do much about is the rudeness of some of the audience who were talking loudly while the concert was in progress and there was repeated disturbances through out the concert of people getting up and going to the bar or food outlet plus some parents allowed their children to run around all evening.

It was an exhilarating evening. Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly personnel. Very well organised arriving and leaving. The bands were great. my favorite must be the soloist beautiful voice. The most special thing for me was my husband who has a hearing impediment had a fab time. He heard everything. I took a party of 6. it was truly a unique experience which please God we will repeat next year. Well done everybody

Music outstanding but the gates must open as soon as traffic starts to build outside. We were there at 5.50 and there was a hold up of through traffic in all three directions. Some common sense with someone monitoring the road outside would not go amiss. Also, with a packed crowd and lots of cars, there needs to be a better organisation for getting away. It took us 20 minutes from the time we got in our car to the time we exited the gate, whereas friends who went, spent 45 minutes for the same journey.

It was a great evening in the open air with great music and fireworks. The weather was fine and the large audience appreciative. This time I bought a chair; next time a bottle of wine and some glasses, perhaps a picnic dinner or an umbrella.

Review of Last Night of the Proms Outdoor Concert
The musicianship at Kneller Hall is always superb, and the Last Night of the Proms style concert was no exception. A real treat to hear the pipes and drums, as well as all the more usual instruments.
Unfortunately some of the audience were more interested in talking loudly among themselves or "singing" out of tune than in respecting the music and other concert goers. These were middle aged and older people who should know better.
