Review of Brighton Music Conference
Great to see what new products are on offer and to attend talks/discussions by current electronic music industry professionals. In my mind the event could have been called 'Brighton Electronic Music Conference' because I saw no drums. basses, percussion or instruments other than keyboards while I was there. It seemed to be all about dance music and recording. Other than that it was really good and well organised.

Review of Brighton Music Conference
This was my first visit to BMC with an Academy tick*t.
I found the security a tad over zealous (quite demanding to check wristbands) - I did not feel this was appropriate at this venue.
Registration on the first day was also very slow and staff seemed too laid back and not briefed i.e. did not know where toilets were located.
Number of stalls was disappointing - I expected to see many others, nothing from Ableton, Bitwig, Pro Tools, etc... the saving grace was Native Instruments with the Native Sessions theatre. If it hadn't been for them, I probably would have left after 2 hours.
Atmosphere was nice, although it would have been good if someone could have announced some of the upcoming talks and sessions to encourage people to move around and create some atmosphere. Freebies such as DJ Mag were dumped on a trolley and it seemed a case of Pro tick*t holders being looked after better than Academy tick*t holders.
Unless there is more for the academy tick*t holders, not sure its worth coming back sadly. A bit flat and disorganised.

Review of Brighton Music Conference
Nice location and friendly welcome, set up for the academy and other non professional areas was good but limited amount of vendors, quite a few big names missing the action, would have liked to have had some special offers on gear and training and some non music related vendors thrown into the mix for fun and inspiration. The talks were informative and engaging. I wouldn't really come again as I live a long way from Brighton but I had an enjoyable day.
Review of Brighton Music Conference
It has been a great experience and I think was really well organize. I met a lot of interesting People and had fun at the networking and Party events. I will definitely come back.

Review of Brighton Music Conference
The 2016 BMC was a pleasure to attend and be a performer at (BMC On The House/Wiggle afterparty). I look forward to next year, more involvement and providing a panel discussion or performance at the main events. To be continued, Adam Collins - adam@euphoriarecords.us

Review of Brighton Music Conference
Brighton Music Conference was the focus for our college residential. All of our students learned a great amount from the workshops, demonstrations and talks. The music production sessions were particularly inspiring. Hope to be back for 2017.
