Review of GEEKS Lincoln Comic-Con
A small friendly event, well run and organised, it just lacked something? Other than meeting the various celebrities and shopping there was little to do. Could have had another room showing movies, more seating as this seemed short and the panels although interesting were not in the right location. Oh and they need signage in the car park and the announcements were barely audible. Sorry this seems a bit negative but I would definitely go again.

Saturday was a slow start put picked up in the afternoon with panels. Guests were great and you were able to spend a reasonable amount of time with those you wanted to meet. Suggestions 1) more notices around the venue with timetable. 2) More panels in the morning. 3) Someone to "entertain" audience between panels and in case of delays. Went to event in Nottingham recently where a MC held sway and kept everything buzzing - suggest Lincoln does the same. 4. Need Cosplay to be better organised - suggest 2 lists - under 16 & over 16 with all kept to the side and allowed to walk onto stage, promenade and then leave. Most just walked to the microphone with their back to the audience said their name and walked off - no real chance to see them properly.

We had a fantastic time! Everyone was friendly, amazing costumes, lots of stalls (we wanted everything!), the panels were fab and had us all laughing... We can't wait for the next one...!

We had a fantastic day loads more room more people to meet. Maybe add a few more different stalls apart from that getting better every year. Thankyou for giving us a great day out .

Review of GEEKS Lincoln Comic-Con
Bit disappointed with the organisation & presentation of Cosplay 'Masquerade', as apart from a perfunctory introduction of each delegate there was no opportunity to 'exhibit' - with or without musical support. A bit more thought about this next time please.

Disappointed that many of the stalls were offering the same items. It would be better to ensure that each stall offered something different. Given the size of the venue it would have been nice to see more things like the bat signal and the inflatable R2D2. If you weren't interested in having photos with the guest stars there wasn't much to do.

Review of GEEKS Lincoln Comic-Con
As far as comic cons go, it is there with the rest. I prefer Sci-fi conventions for myself, but for us, comic cons are a brilliant day out with the kid and Grand-kids and they loved it. Loved the fixtures they had to have photo's taken with and on, loved the Superheroes, loved seeing the other people who cosplayed. Staff were lovely. Goody bag was a nice gesture too.
IMO, I can think of Three things which could be improved;
Firstly:- On entry... as queues were pretty large first thing, a disabled queue is a must, as it is a long time to stand waiting, it may not seam a long time for able-bodied people, but believe me it is. (I was very close to going home).
Secondly:- nowhere near enough seating on a rainy day; I would not know how this could be tackled, as I do not know what your limitation is for extra space, but I do know that the Epic centre have extra rooms which could be used for the cafe area instead of people falling over you whist you're eating. (Just an idea).
Thirdly:- Someone in your organising must love Dr Who and Red Dwarf, as your guests related this, (granted you did chuck a couple in from elsewhere) but still those two programs influenced the guest panel... PLEASE be more varied. I love dressing up and going to conventions, but if it was not for the fact that it was local to me and also that it was a day out with my Grand-kiddies, (who just love the Superheros bunch) I would not have bothered. However, I would recommend and I will go again, on the basis that it is still relatively new to the area and improvement could happen.
I wish you well for future events.

Review of GEEKS Lincoln Comic-Con
Was a lovely family atmosphere, plenty of stalls though not as many pro cosplayer as other cons so maybe some of them as they also pull in the crowds. Was disappointed Sylvester McCoy didn't come as I'm a massive Lord of the rings and hobbit fan ,but I understand work commitments etc, cafe was nice and the people were friendly, not much entertainment on to keep people there as I did notice some people leaving around 12 o'clock ,but as I was in cosplay I go for the kiddies and there were some fab people there ,overall it was a great family atmosphere

Review of GEEKS Lincoln Comic-Con
We arrived in pouring rain but the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Ushered us straight into the building to dig out our tickets - it was my son's first event and he was a little over-awed (9yrs old) but had taken the plunge dressing as Harry Potter - a lady passed him our goody bags straight away and made sure to show him what he had, one happy boy ( And I didn't get a look in with the bags, both his apparently!)
The venue was ideal, laid out well, vendors at one end, food in the middle and guests at the other end.
Food was pricey but I'd packed snacks so we didn't need to buy anything.
The photoshoot we had with the Red Dwarf cast was speedy though we weren't rushed - Jacob got to shake hands with them and say hello - I'm very happy with the photo.
Depending on your guests we'll be back.

Great day with plenty of stalls and some good guests. Atmosphere was awesome and everyone seemed to have entered into the spirit, with lots of cosplayers and fun to be had.
Got a bit warm in the epic centre as the number of people increased, but that's a minor gripe :-)
